TCG Digital Presentation

• New system-wide master agreement signed (Contract 2025-004589)
• Expands existing UCLA partnership to all UC campuses and health systems
• Core focus on data integration and analytics services
• Agreement streamlines engagement process with pre-negotiated terms and rate cards
• Addresses challenges from fragmented data sources across campuses (health records, learning management systems, student information systems)

Procurement Targets and Financial Performance

• Target setting submissions completed Friday and will be presented to PLC on Tuesday
• System-wide goal established at 4% savings on addressable spend
• July dashboard shows addressable spend trending up 7% (after 10% increase last year)
• $821 million progress toward billion dollar roundtable goal
• Despite research fund holds, spend continues to increase across the system

eProcurement

• Content approvals completed for Grainger, Waxie and Neta Scientific
• Content pending for Airgas, Biolegend, Fisher Scientific 3P and Gen Labs
• Campuses have transitioned to new Life Tech contract (#2024004212) in ePro
• Fisher/Possible Missions ePro Project: UC Davis in integration testing with UCLA next in line
• New UC Procurement Enablement Tracking Dashboard now live in the UC Procurement Portal
• NEB freight policy updated: minimum order value increased to $450 and freight charge per order increased to $35

Information Technology

• Audit Management Solution RFP: Down-selected to 3 suppliers with demos scheduled for weeks of 9/15 and 9/22
• CISCO Strategic Relationship Agreement signed with additional 2% discount on products and 5% for Smart Tracks
• Human Risk Management RFP: Team finalizing presentation/sandbox requirements
• Software/SaaS Reseller RFP: Project team established with 12 UC locations represented
• Print supplier renewals (Canon, Ricoh, Xerox) being finalized by 9/19/25
• Threat Detection and Identification RFP reaching conclusion with intent to award forthcoming

Life Sciences

• Airgas imposing CO2 force majeure of 100% volume in Southern California with $50/ton surcharge
• Spectrum Chemicals contract extended until 11/1/2025 with new contract in progress
• UC-Wide Thorlabs Agreement extended through 12/31/25 with updated discounts
• Lab Medical Consumables RFP targeting small businesses set for release on October 7
• McKesson non-acute agreement established August 13, with expected $300k savings across 9 campuses

Logistics and Professional Services

• Travel and Expense Management Software sourcing event scheduled with exploratory presentations in September/October
• Vantage Point Logistics adopting new agreement based on Vizient with current pricing maintained
• On-Demand Talent RFP: 18 suppliers submitted proposals with finalist notification around October 6
• External Audit RFP: Conditional award to new firm with contract negotiations beginning
• HR Consulting: 21 firms submitted bids with finalist presentations scheduled for late October

Revenue Generation and Upcoming Events

• Card Conference scheduled for October with Zoom option on second day (October 29)
• Campuses receiving Omnia fee shares this week ($1.2M) with 42% YoY growth compared to last year's Q2
• Forecasting 31% increase YoY projection for 2025 across the system
• Economic Impact Advisory Council meeting and Community Impact & Supplier Development Summit at month-end
• Patronage & Incentive Audit update to be presented at PLC tomorrow
