The UC-wide AuditBoard (now Optro) agreement, executed on December 23, 2025, establishes a single, systemwide Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) audit management solution to support the University of California’s (UC) internal audit community. This agreement enables UC internal auditors to use AuditBoard’s Audit Management System to apply a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving risk management, internal controls, and governance processes across the UC system.

This agreement replaces a legacy, on-premises audit platform with a modern, cloud based solution that supports the full audit lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, workpaper management, issue tracking, and reporting. It is designed to provide consistent audit capabilities across UC locations, align with UC terms and data security requirements, and support systemwide efficiency and compliance objectives through a competitively awarded, best value procurement.

The AuditBoard (now Optro) agreement is available UC-wide to 10 campuses, 6 health centers, and the Lawrence Berkeley and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories.
