IDEATION 2024: A WBE Conference on AI

The University of California (UC), in partnership with the Women’s Business Enterprise Council Pacific (WBEC Pacific) and others, is pleased to announce: IDEATION 2024. This all-day conference will equip Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) and corporate leaders with strategies for leveraging the latest technological advancements. The event is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST on June 25, 2024, at the University of California, Berkeley, Pauley Ballroom, ASUC Student Union: Martin Luther King Jr. Building, 2495 Bancroft Way, Berkeley CA, 94720.

Themed “Connecting Emerging Technology, Knowledge, and Tools to Grow Your Business,” the all-day catered conference aims to provide essential insights for attendees looking to harness Artificial Intelligence effectively and drive organizational success while mitigating potential risks. It will blend experiential learning with insightful discussions, boasting a strong lineup of industry experts along with matchmaking sessions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities. Additionally, the conference will recognize corporations at the forefront of technology integration and supplier diversity.

Now in its fifth year, IDEATION hosts some of the biggest names in tech, leading WBEs and Fortune 500 and 1000 companies. This year's headliners include Nancy Douyon, who will share her expertise on how AI techniques can ethically drive business growth. Nancy is the founder of Douyon Signature, the first Black woman-led venture studio in Silicon Valley, as well as a global leader in human factor engineering and one of Inc. Magazine’s Top 10 Women to Watch in Tech. As a highly sought-after speaker and consultant, she educates technology leaders worldwide on user experience methodologies, culture-themed designs, and the implementation of user-centric goals in products.
