Small, Local & Diverse Businesses

The University of California is committed to doing business in an equitable and sustainable manner by working with small, local, and diverse businesses.
Supplier Code of Conduct - University of California
This Supplier Code of Conduct reflects UC's ongoing efforts to enhance access and inclusion, as well as to foster a community that supports lifelong learning and growth for all its members. UC expects every member of the UC community, including all our Suppliers, to join us in our shared pursuit of these principles.

UC Procurement is the centralized procurement/supply chain hub for the entire University of California system. We develop and implement systemwide supply chain strategies and policies that leverage UC's vast purchasing power to optimize University spend.

To participate in UC sourcing events, suppliers must register with CalUsource – our sourcing-to-contract e-procurement platform. In CalUsource, suppliers have the opportunity to participate in systemwide, multi-campus, or campus-specific bidding activities selected for inclusion by UC Procurement.

NOTE: There is no UC preferred vendor list, nor is there an exhaustive list of all RFx events taking place at UC campuses or health centers.
