Southern California

UC employees can make reservations through Marriott’s website and either apply :

1. UC’s discount: 
   • in the drop-down select Special Rate option 
   • add the code UC0 (capital u, capital c, the number zero) in the Corp/Promo Code field
   • If the guest applies the corporate/promo code UC0 and at check-in identifies there is an evacuee rate being offered, the UC employee can ask the UC business rate be adjusted to honor the lower evacuee rate.  Not all Marriott properties are offering an evacuee rate.
2. Evacuation rate: select the Lowest Regular Rate option and if a property is offering an evacuation discount rate it will show up by the property

Wyndham Hotels offer UC a flat 18% discount for all brand properties. Guests can get the discount via Wyndham’s website (UC discount code is embedded in this URL). Wyndham is also offering UC employees an evacuee nightly rate (net) at select locations listed below.  There may be a nominal nightly price difference between the UC and evacuee rates and we suggest guests choose the lower price option. 

Below are several hotel properties affiliated with Wyndham in the greater Los Angeles area with rates lower than most Wyndham properties. To stay at these properties, contact the hotel directly, stating that you are a UC employee/student and request the lower displaced rate.     

(These properties are not 4-5-star rated but based on price point and availability may be helpful for guest consideration. Note, the Haas Hotel (near UCLA) is configured like apartments and may be better suited for extended stay based on long-term availability.)
