Occupational Health Electronic Health Record Solution (OHEHR) | IT UC-Wide Agreement
UC Systemwide Procurement secured a new agreement with Medical Informatics Engineering, Inc. d/b/a Enterprise Health to provide electronic health record management for UC employees' Occupational Health related to:
- preventative & compliance (vaccinations, drug testing, exposure monitoring, medical surveillance, physical exams)
- injury & illness care (injury evaluation, medical care, rehabilitation & management), and
- E-prescriptions (for controlled substance).
The OHEHR project is a subproject under the Vaccine Policy Compliance project. This agreement is available to all UC locations.
Benefits to UC
$6M in projected financial benefit to the UC over the Agreement term.
Predictable pricing – fixed pricing during Initial 5-year term with negotiated 3% price increase cap in renewal years.
Additional Incentives: 25 scholarships annually towards the Debt Free Pathways program; Participation in the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Ambassador Program, promoting an internship program in occupational medicine.
This is small business award and underscores our commitment to supporting small and diverse businesses.
Agreement terms align with UC’s needs and comply with policies and laws, including UC Appendix DS and BAA
Security and technical teams from UCOP, UCD, UCI and UCSC collaborated to perform a comprehensive vendor risk assessment.
