Amendment Benefits and Details
This amendment is specific to adding Panorama 2025 Learning Management System (LMS), but it also:
- Establishes systemwide baseline pricing (approximately 20% off MSRP), while allowing campuses to negotiate additional discounts based on size, contract term, or existing YuJa utilization.
- Strengthens accessibility-related contractual protections
- Aligns limitation of liability and pricing provisions specifically to Panorama’s scope
- Preserves UC’s contractual rights while allowing YuJa to enhance and evolve the product without additional charges fo routine product improvements
- Maintains standardized legal and governance terms across all UC locations.
Important Compliance Note:
This agreement does not incorporate a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Thus, services under this agreement are not HIPAA or PCI DSS compliant, and campuses must ensure Panorama is not used for regulated health or payment card data.
What is Panorama LMS?
Panorama LMS is an automated digital accessibility solution that integrates directly into the LMS and:
- Scans course content (documents, pages, media) for accessibility issues
- Provides remediation guidance to instructors and content creators
- Generates alternative formats (e.g., accessible PDFs, audio, HTML) for students.
- Campuses are adopting Panorama to support accessibility compliance obligations (e.g., ADA/WCAG) and to reduce the operational burden on instructors and academic support staff.
