Key Category Guidelines and Goals
UC Sustainable Procurement Guidelines set specific standards for these major product categories within the Facilities & Maintenance portfolio:
- Cleaning Supplies
- Office Supplies
- Indoor Furniture
- Water Appliances/Fixtures.
Purchasing of goods within these categories must adhere to the minimum required standards in the Guidelines. In addition, UC has outlined higher goals for the purchase of goods in these categories as shown in the Guidelines.
General Criteria
Some Environmental, Economic and Social sustainability criteria are applicable across all or most different product or service categories. Refer to the Sustainable Procurement Guidelines for general criteria that must be applied to applicable categories and included in the specifications for all relevant solicitations and contracts.
